What does this date mean?

On July 5, this company goes live for the first time in San Francisco. This app-based technology company changed the way we travel daily. We rely on this ride app to travel to the airport, to restaurants, to clubs, back home and to other destinations.

Tourists use this app to venture around cities, saving on the cost of parking, rental car fees and avoiding possible accidents and damage to rentals.

On July 5, 2010, Uber opened their doors in San Francisco. This is a significant date in our modern time, as Uber has recruited millions of clients to use their ride app service. Amazing how fast time travels, because Uber has been in existence for 5 years now.

Millions of Uber rides are taken daily. Uber redefined the transportation landscape. Taxis once rejected rides, profiling riders based on locations and physical appearance. They rejected credit cards as a form of payment, vying to receive cash fares to save on transaction fees.

July 5, 2010 is an important date in Uber's history. This is the day that San Francisco riders were introduced to this amazing service.
