Lyft has a new ad out that reads, "Become a Lyft Partner." Most ridesharing drivers who drive for Lyft and SideCar don't consider themselves a Partner at these ridesharing companies.
When we think of Uber, this technology-based ride app company treats their drivers like Partners. Lyft deactivates their drivers without any warning, while Uber gives their Partners two options after overall ratings fall below the minimum requirements.
Lyft lacks that business appeal to identify their drivers as a Partner. The Pink Mustache must go because this trade dress is not Partner material; it is silly and unprofessional.
Next, get rid of the Performance Review Department. Once these requests are honored, then maybe we can start to view drivers as a Partner of Lyft.
